Can I change my order once it has been placed?
Late amendments to orders are often possible and every effort will be made to accommodate changes however this cannot be guaranteed.
Where should I keep my cake whilst travelling to the venue/home?
In the car, the cake needs to be placed in the boot or in the foot well, NOT on the seat or on a passenger's lap as this can tilt the cake sideways causing it to slide.
When carrying the cake, you must hold it as flat as possible in both hands, without pushing against the sides or the top of the box. You must not put the cake in a carrier bag as this can squash the cake and cause it to slide. Please see Terms & Conditions for further details. We will not be responsible for any faults or damage to cakes where it has been placed in unsuitable conditions or has not been handled with attention and care.
Where should I keep my cake once collected?
All cakes should be stored in a cool, dark place on a flat sturdy surface. Never put cakes in the fridge other than fresh cream cakes.
We do not recommend keeping cakes in the car or garage etc overnight as temperature changes can affect the finish and taste of the cake.
Sponge and chocolate cake will keep for one week after collection if covered. Fruit cake will last perfectly well for months.
